Medico-Legal Reports:
I have been instructed in excess of 1,000 times in a variety of proceedings, including public, private, and criminal law, and have given expert evidence to the courts on more than 100 occasions.
I am currently accepting personal injury instructions on behalf of claimants,  defendants, or joint instructions, in cases such as road traffic or any other accident/incident-related psychological trauma (e.g. Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, Adjustment Disorder, Depression, Phobic Anxiety); and cases of alleged clinical negligence and  its psychological consequences for the individual. Because neuropsychological assessment is an increasingly specialised area, I do not accept instruction in cases of severe head injury or brain damage where that is the primary issue to be assessed.
I will try to see the claimant as soon as possible following receipt of a written instruction (usually within 3-4 weeks, but please contact me for a precise timescale) and provide a written report typically within one week of the assessment. A general estimate of cost can be provided upon discussion of the case, and a more precise quotation once the scale of preparatory reading is known.
Please do not hesitate to contact me directly should you wish to have an informal discussion about a case in which you might be considering instructing a psychologist.
